LYNX band in Goa was originally formed in the year 1994 – an offshoot of a band that performed previously for 17 years at the Oberoi Bogmalo Beach Resort, Goa. Within the span of one year, grew popularly because of their unique rendition of various styles of music, which appealed to the public.

It is because of this very appeal, they performed in various cities of India, and countries abroad such as England and Dubai, where they performed for two full term contracts - the first Goan band to do so.

In the year 2006, they did a record of 4 International shows and a few more shows in India (including a prestigious wedding in Hyderabad for which they were flown to and fro during the peak season of December) – this speaks volumes about their widely favored performance.

LYNX also hold the unique distinction of being the first Goan musicians ever, to make a CD containing Konkani & English music ~ both traditional and original, called "Viva Goenkar" ~ a highly successful venture to date.

They assure their audience, enjoyable evenings of good music for dancing and listening pleasure, and as is well known, audiences have always associated "LYNX" with among the most memorable and unforgettable evenings they have had.

During the last 14 years – the band has brushed shoulders with many a prominent National and International personalities in the entertainment industry……

The present line - up of this cool band, who believe that " true music is music played totally live, and straight from the heart" - consists of ANTHONY( Bass / Vocals), ASSUMPTION( Drums / Vocals), FRAZER (Keyboards / Vocals ), SANDY (Vocals) and TERRY (Guitar /Vocals ), – five ‘easy-to-get-along-with’ people, who make MAGIC with MUSIC.
